“ Super nice healthy smoothie and bowl. There are so many options for smoothies that depend on what I need for my day (energy, protein, immune) I do love their concept and great service with friendly staff Ps. Berry berry smoothie is the best in town ”
“ Service was amazing and food portion was good. We went there for early dinner/snack time and I was able to share a portion with my husband. Both of us were satisfied. We ordered Bangkok bowl, which you can choose tofu or chicken as your protein. You can also choose to add hot sauce, sesame seed and pickle cabbage. We added everything and it turned out so good. Highly recommend! This one is located within Lonsdale quay market, which is quiet, lots of seating area, and very pleasant with views of the water! ”
“ Me and my friend wanted healthy food after our hike, and we found this place on google maps! The food here is sooooooooo good. They have so many different options: bowls, wraps, smoothies, etc. It was hard deciding what to get but we both chose the falafel wrap with a fresh squeezed orange juice. Omg.... I'm a huge meat eater but this wrap was delicious!!! I love how there are vegetarian, vegan, and meat options here. I live far from this place but I already want to come back! ”
“ I had a beef bowl which was very delicious. The staff is very friendly and kind. ”
“ WELA North Vancouver sits inside Lonsdale Quay Market, and is one of the very FIRST 'healthy bowl' food stalls you'll see once you come in the entrance. Nice, big compact menu on the blackboard makes it easy to pick any reasonably-priced healthy bowl no matter what you end up choosing. I went with Bangkok Bowl (15.95) with chicken breast as my premium topping and it was FILLING!! My bowl was light, it had lots of veggies so I felt like I'm eating healthy, and there was plenty of food. Definitely more food than the typical foodcourt takeouts I've noticed around me at the resting tables. Overall, WELA North Vancouver is an easy choice and a no-brainer food stop if you're looking for something good, filling, cheap, and uncomplicated. I DO RECOMMEND WELA. ”
“ Picked up a couple of bowls and a smoothie (using my Plant Curious book coupon). Service was friendly! Been loving their Shroomami bowl since visiting their Nelson Street location, and it didn't disappoint having it from their Lonsdale Quay location! Their sauteed mushrooms are packed with umami flavour. It also comes with a good amount of edamame! At the end, we could also add pickled onions, fried onions, and sesame seeds as toppings (highly recommend their pickled onions). For one of the bowls, we were able to substitute the spinach and kale for some quinoa, so did appreciate the customization! If we had one minor issue, it would be to ask for more sauce. The creamy sesame dressing could have been more plentiful to cover the various ingredients. The Vanilla Matcha smoothie was alright. I was able to substitute the whey for vegan whey/protein, but it was definitely a prominent banana flavour when I was hoping for a stronger matcha one! It was very creamy. I'd probably like to try one of their more tropical smoothies in the future! Would recommend for their bowls! There is lots of seating inside and outside of the quay. ”
“ Stopped at Lonsdale Quay while biking with a group and went in to find something for lunch. I chose WELA as it did look like a healthy selection to choose from. I decided to get the Lemongrass Chicken Bowl with brown rice. The staff made it up very quickly with a few questions to customize it. They were all friendly and appeared to enjoy working there. The bowl was delicious and with a surprising amount of tender chicken in it. I was full, but didn't have the heavy feeling if I had something heavy like a burger. Definitely recommend it if you are at the Quay and want something healthy you can sit outside with. ”
“ Unbelievably tasty food! I'm not a vegan, but I unwittingly ordered the vegan green curry, and it was incredibly delicious and very satisfying. It even came with this awesome pickled cabbage. I already recommended Wela to my vegan friend and I will definitely be going back! ”
